Are Pregnant or Breast-feeding
The effects of Fosamax during pregnancy and breastfeeding have not been
adequately studied. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, notify your
doctor immediately.
It is not known whether Fosamax appears in breast milk. It is not recommended for nursing mothers.
Possible Fosamax Side Effects
Fosamax ide effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in
intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible.
More common Fosamax side effects may include: stomach pain.
Less common Fosamax side effects may include: nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach fullness, gas, constipation, diarrhea, headache or altered taste.
Rare side Fosamax effects may include: an increase in muscle or bone pain, severe heartburn or chest pain, black or tarry stools.
Symptoms of a Fosamax allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.
